Library Handbook
Okay, This is my first year as a media specialist in an elementary school of 1100 students. The other media specialist that will be working with me has been at the school for 25 years. I hope I can do as well as she has. This week we are trying to tackle the media center handbook. We have added the IMPACT page from the S.C. Dept. of Education as well as the Collaborative Planning guide. Teachers will be getting information about our Fixed and Flex scheduling and ideas for what we will be teaching during Flex scheduling periods. We have decided to put all the information into a 1/2 inch notebook and catalog them so teachers can return them at the end of the year for updates. I will be adding the handbook information to our media webpage at Bethel.
